| Zero Energy Production Center: Integration of Photovoltaic Systems and Energy-Efficient Technologies | ||||||
To meet the requirements of net-zero energy production while cutting costs at the same time, this paper studies the feasibility of converting an existing small food production facility into a zero-energy production center by incorporating photovoltaic solar panels, solar water-heating panels, energy-efficient machines, and renewable-energy management practices. The targeted facility is a processing plant for three fast-food restaurants, with an approximate electric power consumption of 10 kW. It is equipped with solar water-heating panels, and a photovoltaic system has already been installed to increase the amount of renewable electricity generated on site. The installed system comprises of 120 LR5-66HPH-500M G2 Longi Solar Monocrystalline............

| Can Traditional Levantine Construction Inform Sustainable Post-Conflict Rehabilitation? An Integrated Review and Conceptual Framework | ||||||
Post-conflict rehabilitation in Syria is increasingly framed as more than a physical reconstruction task, requiring attention to environmental performance, structural safety, cultural continuity, and institutional capacity alongside repair of damaged housing stock. Traditional Levantine construction, developed across Damascus, Aleppo, As-Salt, and Antakya, is frequently proposed as a source of locally adapted, sustainable building knowledge, yet its contemporary applicability is rarely evaluated critically. This paper addresses that gap through a qualitative, evidence-based critical integrative review and comparative documentary analysis, organised across four analytical dimensions: environmental performance........

| Cost, Time, Risk and Traffic Based City Transportation Shortest Path Problem | ||||||
Urban transportation systems face challenges of congestion, pollution, and inefficiency due to rapid urbanization and inadequate infrastructure. This paper develops a multi-objective shortest path transportation model for Surat City, incorporating cost, time, risk, and traffic parameters. Using fuzzy programming techniques, the study identifies optimal routes for different transport modes (bus, auto-rickshaw, and bike). Results demonstrate that fuzzy programming provides more efficient solutions compared to traditional goal programming, offering practical insights for sustainable urban transport planning.

| Landslide Remediation in Save Skarica Street, Sarajevo – A Case Study | ||||||
The Save Skarića landslide is located in an urban area of Sarajevo, on the northern slopes of Mount Trebević. During a period of heavy rainfall, slope movement occurred and caused damage to several residential buildings. This paper presents the scope of engineering-geological and geotechnical investigations, the remediation design, and the monitoring plan. Activation of the landslide was manifested by cracks in residential buildings, retaining walls, and the access road. Engineering-geological and geotechnical investigations established that sliding occurs predominantly within the clayey eluvial-deluvial cover above a more competent Miocene geological substratum.........

| A comparative study of the solar pumping system direct and the conventional pumping system | ||||||
Water and energy are essential and indispensable elements for life. The growing demand for energy and the inevitable future depletion of conventional (fossil) sources necessitate research into alternative sources, such as renewable energy. It is necessary to harness energy potential for electricity generation and pumping. It is against this backdrop that we have carried out a comparative study between the solar-powered pumping system that operates as the sun moves across the sky and the conventional pumping system using a generator and EDM-SA. To carry out this study, we estimated the installation and operating costs of the various water pumping systems (solar-powered pumping following the sun's path, conventional pumping with a generator, and conventional pumping with EDM-SA).........

Intelligent web applications increasingly personalize content, navigation and task support through artificial intelligence. However, many adaptive interfaces are optimized for engagement or efficiency rather than accessibility, which can create new barriers for users with visual, motor, cognitive or situational limitations. This paper proposes an Accessibility-Aware Adaptive AI Interface framework for intelligent web applications. The framework combines a user accessibility profile, semantic user interface analysis, WCAG-aligned rule checks, AI-generated adaptations and human feedback into a controlled adaptation loop.........

| Design and Simulation of a Low-Cost Optical Fi-bre Fault Localisation Circuit Using Time-Domain Reflectometry Principles in NI Multisim | ||||||
Fault detection and localisation in optical fibre communication links is usually done with an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer OTDR. But it is in practice, kind of accurate, yet it can be pricey and not that easy to access when you want something for training or just fast preliminary checks. Here we talk about the design, simulation, and analysis of a low cost electrical analogue circuit, and kind of keep it similar in spirit to what OTDR does. The main goal is to mimic the fault-localisation behaviour of an OTDR, by leaning on ordinary transmission-line plus reflectometry principles, and the whole thing is built and tested in NI Multisim.........

| Low-Resource Speaker Diarization: A Systematic Review of Progress, Challenges, and Deployment Pathways | ||||||
The task of speaker diarization (identifying who spoke when in a multi-speaker audio recording) is crucial for automatic speech processing but remains underutilized in low-resource settings due to the need for large annotated speaker corpora in order to deploy state-of-the-art systems. In this paper, we present a systematic review of progress, challenges, and deployment strategies in low-resource speaker diarization, from the field's statistical foundations to the latest generation of self-supervised deep learning models. The review categorizes the literature into four key themes: the development of speaker embedding architectures, the problems encountered in the acoustic and domain dimensions........

| Exploring Circular Economy Pathways for Biomedical Waste Management in India | ||||||
India's biomedical waste (BMW) generation is growing rapidly, driven by expanding healthcare infrastructure, rising population, and episodic surges (e.g., COVID-19). The dominant linear "take-make-dispose" approach for BMW treatment is encountering stress due to limited treatment capacity, regulatory gaps, and inefficient practices. A transition towards a circular economy (CE) paradigm—where waste is minimised, reused, recycled, recovered, and resources are kept in use longer—offers significant promise in the biomedical waste sector resulting in improved resource efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and new economic value streams........

The relationship between distributed leadership and student achievement was studied in schools of Sarpang Dzongkhag, Bhutan. The rationale of the study was the growing emphasis on collaboration and shared leadership in education and the lack of empirical evidence on the relationship between distributed leadership and student achievement in the context of Bhutan. The case study design opted for a mixed-methods approach. The sample consisted of 40 participants (20 principals and 20 senior teachers) from 20 chosen schools in Sarpang Dzongkhag. To select participants who had relevant knowledge and experience of distributed leadership practices, purposive sampling was applied.........

| Effect of Carburization on TiC Precipitation Hardening and Microstructural Development in Mo–Ti Alloys | ||||||
This report provides a comprehensive review of the microstructural development and hardening mechanisms in Molybdenum-Titanium (Mo-Ti) alloys subjected to carburization and subsequent heat treatments. Molybdenum alloys are critical for high-temperature structural applications, however, their utility is often limited by surface wear and low-temperature brittleness. Carburization has emerged as a robust method for surface and internal strengthening through the precipitation of Titanium Carbide (TiC).Evidence suggests that carburization leads to the formation of finely dispersed TiC precipitates, which significantly enhance hardness—often by over 400% in pure titanium systems and providing substantial increases in Mo-Ti alloys.........
